This aquarium has 65 tanks with 500 varieties of 20,000 marine creatures. The Setouchi Ocean Tank recreates the Straits of Shimonoseki in the shape of a tunnel, allowing visitors to feel like they're walking under the ocean.
The aquarium's pufferfish display, with over 100 types of pufferfish from all over the world, is particularly impressive.
Dolphin and seal performances are also held in the Aqua Theater, beyond which the Straits of Shimonoseki stretch into the distance.
