  2. Otani Sanso uses personal information (names, addresses, telephone numbers, email address, workplaces; nationalities and passport numbers of international guests, requests made during use of food and other services) for the following purposes.
    1. To provide food and other services during your stay, to contact guests to confirm reservations
    2. To improve the quality of our services
    3. To send seasonal news and lodging plan (These will be sent only with the agreement of guests)
    4. When legally required
  3. Otani Sanso will not share the personal information of guests or job applicants with third parties except in the following cases.
    1. If guests request reservations at other businesses
    2. If we need to make a report to the travel agency a guest has used
    3. If a guest needs emergency treatment for a sudden illness of injury, in cases in which it may be difficult to aquire a guest's consent
    4. In cases in which Otani Sanso entrusts a part of our operations to a contracted partner organization
    5. If Otani Sanso receives a legal request for such information

    3. As a safety measure, contracted partner organizations are required to enter into contracts to protect confidentiality.
  5. Regarding the release, revision, cessation of use, or deletion of user's personal information
    1. Should guests or job applicants request to view their own collected personal information, they may request their information after presenting proof of identity with a driver's license, passport, or other form of ID. The information will be sent to the address indicated on the ID. Please be aware that you will be required to pay the mailing fees.
    2. Should we receive a request from guests or job applications for cessation of use, debts and credits will be completed, and we will promptly comply, within the scope of the law.
