Chuya Nakahara is a poet from Yamaguchi City famous for his poems like "Circus." The Chuya Nakahara Memorial Museum is located in the land of Nakahara's birth. Visitors to the museum can come to know this poet they're unlikely to find in a textbook: Nakahara, who, over the course of his 30 short years, was surrounded by poetry, his chosen form of expression. The museum is located in the center of Yuda Onsen, close to the Yuda Onsen Sightseeing Information Center, "Kitsune-no-Ato" (The Fox's Pawprints).
