Yuya Terraced Rice Fields
From May - June, take in the sight of sunset here aglow with fishing lights. The Sea of Japan extends into the distance here beyond terraced rice fields.
The Yuya Terraced Rice Fields have been selected as one of the "100 Rice Terraces of Japan." The elegant view of the sea of Japan just below is a beautiful sight, and becomes especially remarkable during the months of May to June, when fishing lights can be seen across the surface of the bay and the rice paddies filled with water.
