Tsunoshima Bridge, Tsunoshima Island

White sands and emerald green waters stretch across this scenic beach.

Tsunoshima is an island with a population of 900, located in the northwest of Yamaguchi Prefecture, poking up from the Sea of Japan. The beautiful scenery here looks less like the Sea of Japan, and more like the beaches of lands to the south.
The Great Tsunoshima Bridge is one of the longest (1,780 m) bridges featuring a general road without a toll in Japan. It is also a famous location in many movies and TV shows.
